Data Products in SYNQ help customers identify and define critical data systems. When creating a product, you can now choose from several recommended monitoring strategies–from monitoring all assets to a more tailored approach of only monitoring sources.

Impact filter in Triage

If multiple systems fail at the same time, it’s not uncommon to end up with a lot of test and monitor errors. We’ve shipped impact filters to help you quickly zoom in on the most important issues first. For example, apply a P1 filter to see if your most critical data products are impacted.

Whenever you apply a filter, we generate a unique URL so you can easily pass it around within your team.

New navigation

We’ve redesigned the navigation to fit with the key pillars of the Data product Observability Workflow. Learn more about the workflow in our CEO’s talk from the dbt Coelasce conference.

Add issues to Incidents

Some new issues may be related to existing incidents. In the triage section, you can now Add to an incident, to add one or several new issues to an existing incident. This will recognize these issues, keep the triage clean, and ensure no unnecessary new incidents need to be declared.
