What's new in SYNQ this month

SYNQ Free

You can now use the SYNQ platform for free including 1 admin user, 5 viewers, and 10 monitors. This includes access to core functionality such as anomaly monitors, column-level lineage, data products, and Slack and email alerting. This may be all you need if you’re in a small data team. If you’re in a larger team, it’s a good way to try out SYNQ for yourself.

We’ve also launched our public pricing page to give full transparency into what to expect at different size and complexity levels.

Domains and subdomains in GA

Domains are now available across the SYNQ platform. Domains group related data assets or products and help limit what data assets users can see in SYNQ.

We’ve also shipped subdomains, which are a way for larger teams to manage data with more granularity within a domain. Read more about domains in our docs.

Atlan integration

We’ve shipped our integration with Atlan, one of the most exciting data catalogs out there. With this, you can use Atlan as your single source of truth for defining Data Products, and bring these definitions to SYNQ to manage monitor setup, ownership, and data quality monitoring.

SYNQ Optimise

Sometimes improving your data operations requires an extra pair of expert eyes 👀. Our Solution Engineering team has built an in-house “SYNQ Optimise” offering for our paying customers. With this, we can do deep dives on your metadata and identify opportunities for improvements, from identifying unused data assets to long-running and costly data models or bespoke one-off requests based on our fast-growing catalog of common use cases.
